Our Story
Next2Kin Care was founded in Detroit by people who had lived the challenge firsthand — navigating the search for trustworthy, compassionate care for aging parents and grandparents. We knew there had to be a better way.
We built Next2Kin Care on the idea that home care should feel like family. That means caregivers who are carefully selected not just for their skills, but for their warmth and character. It means care plans that actually fit your loved one's life. And it means being there — really there — when families need us most.
Today we serve families across Detroit and the surrounding communities, and we're proud to be a local, independent agency that puts people before profit.

Founder & CEO
Renee founded Next2Kin Care after caring for her own grandmother and recognizing the gap between what families needed and what was available. She brings 15 years of healthcare administration experience and an unshakeable commitment to the Detroit community.
Marcus Hill
Director of Care Operations
Marcus oversees caregiver training, quality assurance, and care plan development. A certified nursing assistant turned operations leader, he ensures every client receives consistent, high-quality care.
Priya Nair
Care Coordinator
Priya is often the first voice families hear when they reach out. She guides families through the intake process with patience and warmth, matching clients with the right caregivers from day one.
